Modern and Multi-functional Foldable Sofa Bed, 2-seater, Velvet, 190cm

Three Ways to Lounge, One Beautiful Sofa—The Essential Space-Saver

Living in a compact apartment or studio doesn't mean compromising on comfort. Designed for the modern New Zealand lifestyle, this 3-in-1 Foldable Velvet Sofa Bed transforms your living space in seconds—from a stylish sofa for entertaining to a cosy bed for overnight guests.

Kiwi homes are increasingly prioritising multifunctional furniture that adapts to changing needs. The “spare room” is often a home office, a hobby space, or a bit of everything—and a good sofa bed lets that room work harder without looking like a permanent guest bedroom. This sofa bed is built for exactly that: a sophisticated velvet piece that looks at home in a modern living room, then effortlessly becomes a lounger or a comfortable bed when you need it. The dual-side storage pockets keep remotes, phones, and snacks within easy reach.

With its 190cm length and double-seat design, it's perfect for sharing a lazy weekend or movie marathon with a partner or friend. And when guests arrive, the foldable design lets one person switch between modes in seconds.

This is the base model—focused on core comfort and space-saving features, with dual-side storage pockets for your daily essentials. It does not include the armrest-integrated cup holder, phone stand, USB port, or quilt rack found in the upgraded version.

Available in Dark Gray, Black, and Pink to suit your interior.

CARE & MAINTENANCE

Velvet Fabric Care

Regular Care: Gently vacuum weekly with a soft brush attachment on low suction. Always work in the direction of the pile to lift dust and restore the velvet's natural sheen.

Spot Cleaning: Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth—never rub, as this can damage the pile and push stains deeper. For marks, use a soft, damp cloth with a mild soap solution, testing on a hidden area first.

Crushed Pile: If velvet pile becomes flattened, hold a handheld garment steamer several inches away and apply light steam in a sweeping motion. Once dry, brush gently to lift the fibres.

Dampness: New Zealand's climate can be humid—ensure the sofa bed is kept in a well-ventilated room and avoid placing it against cold, damp exterior walls for extended periods.

Structure & Mechanism Care

Conversion Mechanism: Keep the folding mechanism clean and free of debris. Wipe with a dry cloth if needed.

Cushion Rotation: Rotate and fluff cushions regularly to maintain shape and ensure even wear.

Weight Distribution: Avoid standing on the sofa or placing excessive concentrated weight on the backrest.

General Tips

Ventilation: Air the sofa bed occasionally in dry, mild weather to keep the fabric and foam fresh—particularly useful in humid or coastal areas.

Moving: Lift rather than drag to protect floors and maintain frame integrity.
