Jemeela Electric Nursing Bed with Latex Mattress for Home Care

Advanced positioning and turning support for home care across New Zealand.

For New Zealand families managing complex home care needs, the Jemeela Electric Adjustable Care Bed offers a comprehensive solution that goes beyond standard adjustable beds. Designed for elderly users with limited mobility, this bed combines therapeutic positioning with practical care features to support daily routines at home.

Electric turning function (0–45° left and right) helps reduce the risk of pressure sores by allowing carers to reposition the user without manual handling strain. The timer-controlled turning function can be set to rotate every 30 or 45 minutes, supporting consistent pressure relief throughout the day and night. The one-touch sit-up function assists users in moving to a seated position independently, promoting greater dignity and reducing carer manual handling.

Electric backrest (0–75°) and leg adjustment (0–35° elevation, –55° flexion) allow precise positioning for comfort, digestion, circulation, and respiratory support. The full-body height adjustment (460–700mm) enables safer transfers and reduces carer bending during daily care.

The included latex mattress provides responsive, breathable support that flexes naturally with the adjustable frame. Five retractable metal side rails offer security during rest and repositioning. The IV pole (304 stainless steel, adjustable 1000–1600mm) supports infusion needs at home, while the removable dining tray and shampoo basin enable meals and personal care without leaving the bed.

With New Zealand’s aged care sector facing ongoing pressure on residential bed availability, this bed supports families choosing to care for loved ones at home for longer. The robust cold-rolled steel frame and power failure protection ensure reliable operation for everyday care routines.
